DŴR

What is DŴR? Well to put it simply it is just the Celtic Welsh word for Water. At DŴR our slogan is "It's Just Water", Whilst our slogan holds multiple meanings it represents two ideologies around the brand and what we stand for. 

Firstly, It's Just Water! Its just what us water sport enthusiasts love to recreate in. It allows us to be free in nature, enjoying one of the main components for life on earth as we know it. We get to use water to our benefit, not only for drinking and daily use, but for our hobbies and sports which we love to do!

Secondly, around the world fresh water supply and abundance is changing. The release of human waste and chemicals into water bodies all across the world is harming not just our own fresh water supplies, but all the ecosystems and organisms which depend on it as well. The attitude of "It's Just Water" can seriously degrade the worth of fresh water and it's importance to the entire world. As water sport enthusiasts we constantly face dirty water from sewage, trash, chemicals, and other river nasties which our fresh water ecosystems cannot filter and deal with. So it is up to us to spread awareness and make changes to the way we treat our fresh water systems. Not just for our benefit of not getting sick from the water we recreate in, but also for the wider environment. 

Once established within the market of water sports we will donate a percentage of our profits to activism groups, and similar projects which are working to improve our fresh water systems. We also aim to hold our own awareness events to spread the word of our diminishing fresh water systems.
